?solo singing role, but needs to be able to carry a tune and learn parts. Must be in shape, must dance.

LARRY: Male. Zach’s assistant. 25-35. Non

ALAN DELUCA: Male. 30-32. Bari-Tenor. From the Bronx. Italian-American. Street tough, macho, newly married to Kristine. Must be believable as a “dude from the Bronx.” Preferred to be somewhat muscular, but not required.

BEBE BENZENHEIMER: Female. 22-25. Alto. From Boston. Very insecure about her looks and should look somewhat “different.” She is mostly a quiet person, but as a defense she can be very funny which is a cover for her insecurities. She wants to make the joke before others can. Feels a little excluded but just wants to be liked. A young dancer who only feels beautiful when she dances.

BOBBY MILLS: Male. 25-28. Baritone. Flamboyant, funny, bitchy and witty. Very sharp tongued. Sheila’s best friend. Covers everything over with a joke, had a very hard childhood. From upstate New York. Prefer someone on the tall side, but not required.

CASSIE: Female. 32-38. Soprano with a strong belt. Older Dancer. Down on her luck and trying to return to the chorus after years of being a featured performer. Previously had a relationship with Zach.

DIANA MORALES: Female. 25-30. Alto with a strong belt/mix. Streetwise, a little bit tough, eternal optimist and starry eyed. A determined athletic dancer from the Bronx. Paul's friend, another Puerto Rican who was underestimated by her teachers.

DON KERR: Male. 28-30. Baritone. Ladies man, married, into cars, money, and women. Hedonist, cool, flirts with Maggie, very sure of himself. All American guy, cocky, worked with Zach before. From Kansas City.

GREGORY GARDENER: Male. 30-35. Baritone. Over sexed, over drugged, done it all before. Gay. Very conscious of how he looks and appears to others. Quite a smart
?alec and has worked with Zach before. Very East Side New York. He is Jewish and preferably has a distinct profile.

?American, extremely strong dancer, enthusiastic, cool and funny. Very likeable and laid back. Seeking someone that can get a lot of height and is proficient in his jumps/Russians/leaps and we are seeking someone on the shorter side, but not required. Tricks are a plus.

SHEILA BRYANT: Female. 29-32. Alto. Brassy, sexy, bitchy and sophisticated. One of the more popular dancers, very funny; needs to have an excellent sense of timing and uses comedy as a defense mechanism. Has worked and been intimate with Zach before.
