Concluding a mainstage season of critically acclaimed performances (A Gentleman’s Guide To Love and Murder, A Swinging Christmas: The Holiday Music of Tony Bennett, The Great Leap, Becoming Dr. Ruth, Chicken & Biscuits), Farmers Alley Theatre will present its highly anticipated production of RENT.
From the mind of award-winning local composer Joriah Kwamé, SOPHIA, OUR BELOVED is the inaugural event of the Farmers Alley Theatre Creators Studio and will stream digitally on Ludus Anywhere Seat on Friday March 26th & Saturday March 27th at 8pm and Sunday March 28th at 2pm. Tickets will be free to the public but do require registration online.
The phrase “I'll be Home for Christmas” has a new meaning this year, and Farmers Alley Theatre is celebrating the season with an exciting musical event bringing together Homegrown Talent with some fantastic local arts organizations in HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS – Streaming digitally on Broadway On Demand from December 12th-24th. Hosted by Farmers Alley Founders Adam & Rob Weiner and Denene Mulay Koch & Jeremy Koch, this 90-minute concert will feature favorite holiday classics, new seasonal songs and a dose of Christmas magic delivered straight to your living room!

Fresh off the success of this summer's production of A Year with Frog and Toad, the Farmers Alley Theatre for Young Audiences program returns with the high-energy and full blast musical, NAKED MOLE RAT GETS DRESSED: THE ROCK EXPERIENCE.
Farmers Alley Theatre concludes its eleventh season with the Tony Award Triple Crown Winner (Best Musical! Best Book! Best Score!) that's part flesh, part felt and a whole lot of heart. The hilarious puppet musical Avenue Q will be running July 19th through August 11th at 221 Farmers Alley, right in the heart of Downtown Kalamazoo. With a smart and clever script by Jeff Whitty, and joyous and tuneful songs by Robert Lopez & Jeff Marx, Avenue Q is the exact kind of entertainment we need right now that's both emotionally moving and riotously funny.
Farmers Alley Theatre will present the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning drama Doubt, a parable this February. Director D. Terry Williams (A Doll's House, Part 2) has assembled an amazing cast headlined by Dwandra Nickole Lampkin (The Christians, The Conviction of Lady Lorraine) as Sister Aloysius and Andy Hoff (TV's Mad Men, Criminal Minds) as Father Flynn. John Patrick Shanley's 90 minute one-act will run February 8-24 at Farmers Alley Theatre, right in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo.
