He feeds the plant with increasingly desperate measures, all to win the affections of Audrey and achieve a modicum of success. The catchy 1960s-style rock and roll score, with unforgettable songs like "Skid Row (Downtown)" and "Suddenly Seymour," perfectly complements the show's darkly comedic tone. Little Shop of Horrors isn't just about a bloodthirsty plant; it's a biting satire on ambition, desire, and the lengths people go to in pursuit of their dreams.
