The comic wheels are set in motion when their eccentric cleaning woman Cassandra, who believes she has the gift of prophecy, issues a warning about terrible events in their future. Sure enough their pastoral world is turn upside down by the return of their dazzling sister Masha a high-maintenance Hollywood movie star for an unannounced visit with her 20-something über-hot boy toy Spike in tow – and so begins an unforgettable weekend building to a fever pitch of rivalry, regret and racket.
