Central City Opera has partnered with National Jewish Health to help company and audience members stay safe during Central City Opera’s 2021 Festival presented at The Hudson Gardens & Event Center.

Central City Opera to Present Mainstage Productions of CAROUSEL and RIGOLETTO

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s beloved musical Carousel and Verdi’s thriller, Rigoletto, will be produced as open-air, socially-distanced performances at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, Colo., while Purcell’s bewitching, hour-long opera Dido and Aeneas and the CCO Al Fresco concert series will be presented in the Opera House Gardens in Central City, Colo.

Central City Opera Postpones Summer Festival to 2021

Due to ongoing safety concerns around COVID-19, Central City Opera's Summer Festival will be postponed until summer of 2021. The scheduled lineup of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel, Verdi's Rigoletto and Purcell's Dido and Aeneas will remain the same next season.
