A classic drama, written by one of the world’s most celebrated playwrights, focuses on the trials and tribulations a 19th century woman endures and how powerful she can be when she finds her strength to break free.
A Doll's House is a three-act play written by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. It concerns the lives of a group of middle-class Norwegians in the 1870s, and the values and issues they may encounter in the 19th-century bourgeoisie. Specifically, Nora, who faces the power of money, keeping up with appearances, and the way women navigate a landscape that leaves them little room to assert themselves as actual human beings.
