Shakedown is a Connecticut based band that has been performing their unique version of a Grateful Dead Concert since 1987. Shakedown features wonderful three part harmonies, varied and interesting jams that reflect the band members special chemistry and they are first & foremost a ‘dance band”.
A loyal following of fans has blossomed over the years. Shakedown has been performing regularly at Toad’s Place in New Haven since 1995 and at almost every major music venue in Southern New England including yearly main stage performances at The Strange Creek Campout and The Wormtown Music Festival. They are repeat winners of the CTNOW Music Award as the “Best Tribute Band” in Connecticut. Band members are Mark Haberfeld, bass , vocals; Dave Frankel, guitar , vocals; Mike Pandiscio , guitar, vocals, Geoff Wadhams, Keys, vocals and Eric Hyland on drums.
Shakedown fans know that they can always expect a high energy show from the band. From “Truckin” to “Touch of Grey” expect to “dance till ya drop”.
