Founded in 1986, Tianjin from Beijing Opera brings together talented and numerous artists graduate, most of the school of the Peking Opera from the port city of Tianjin. At the crossroads, Jade Bangle, divine grass theft and the fairy scattering flowers are works that are present in the greater theater.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of its members, in less than thirty years the company has managed to be among the most famous sets of this traditional Chinese art at the national level. They have created, arranged and placed on stage numerous theatrical titles, winning important awards granted by the Chinese Government.
Peking Opera was born over 200 years ago in Beijing, on the basis of local operatic modalities in the provinces of Anhui and Hubei, by then capital of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Unlike Western opera, ballet and drama, Peking Opera is a show that combines singing, acting, dance and acrobatics and has a wardrobe, makeup technique and a scenic display of exceptional standard. It has a rich traditional repertoire and its content has mainly been influenced by classic novels, operas, legends, stories and popular stories.
