He studied at the Conservatory of the city of Vienna and later followed private lessons with the pianists Alfred Brendel, Meira Farkas, Oleg Maisenberg and Claus-Christian Schuster. Between 2008 and 2010 he played thirty-two sonatas of Beethoven in Vienna, Paris, London, New York and Tokyo. After the Sabbath that took in 2012 he concentrated on the works of Bach, Haydn, Mozart, and Schumann and as promoter of contemporary music, Mark Padmore premiered Harrison Birtwistle one-piece beside the British tenor.
Fellner has performed with orchestras as of the Berlin Radio Symphony, the Vienna Virtuosi, the national Lyon and France national, the Philharmonia and the Munich Philharmonic, among others. In addition, he has shared the stage with directors such as Herbert Blomstedt, Lothar Zagrosek and Neville Marriner.Desde 2013 teaches at the school of high studies music in Zurich.
