Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati will present the regional premiere drama Morning Sun. Deeply felt and gorgeously imagined by Tony winner Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), experience the first regional premiere production of this new play following its successful New York debut. This gutsy portrait of unsung woman plays February 25–March 19, 2023. Directed by D. Lynn Meyers.
Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati (ETC) kicks off the new year with the virtual dramatic reading of the regional premiere drama/comedy 20th Century Blues by Susan Miller, streaming online for two weeks only February 1-14, 2021. Originally scheduled to close the 2019-2020 Season, this production was temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati is going back to school with the regional premiere drama, Pipeline by Dominique Morisseau, the acclaimed MacArthu 'Genius' Grant playwright. This 2018 Obie Award-winning play powerfully brings an urgent conversation to the forefront, compassionately probing the limits of our education system and a mother's fight to give her son a future-without turning her back on the community that made him who he is. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company continues its 25th Anniversary Season at The Otto M. Budig Theater with William Shakespeare's Macbeth. The production is directed by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's Associate Artist Miranda McGee and features a 21 person cast featuring CSC Resident Ensemble Members Giles Davies as Macbeth, Kelly Mengelkoch as Lady Macbeth, Grant Niezgodski as Macduff, and Justin McCombs as Banquo.
