A hilarious, Tony Award-winning musical that follows six over-achieving and awkward adolescents on their quest for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, the eccentric group of outsiders learns that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser. This tuneful, clever and heartwarming coming-of-age tale also invites volunteers from the audience to participate in each performance, ensuring new and unexpected comedy every night.
