New Lost Ages was recorded at the legendary Avast! Recording Co. in Seattle, Washington, by storied producer Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Father John Misty, The Shins, Built to Spill). The 10-song LP is an ongoing sonic quest — meticulously wandering across the musical landscape, this undulating tone of indie, rock and folk stylings.

The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College is excited to open its doors for a high-energy and exciting night of drag as Sasha Colby, the first drag queen to win both “RuPaul's Drag Race” and Miss Continental, takes the stage on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023.

Consisting of guitarist Isaac Horn, mandolinist Lincoln Mick, and fiddler Bailey Warren, the genre-bending trio wrote and recorded Welcome in their hometown of Nashville, TN, working with engineer Logan Matheny (Colony House, Hiss Golden Messenger) and mixer Shani Gandhi (Sarah Jarosz, Sierra Hull).

Working with engineer Logan Matheny (Colony House, Hiss Golden Messenger) and mixer Shani Gandhi (Sarah Jarosz, Sierra Hull), the band approached the recording sessions for Welcome as live as possible, embracing the organic feel of their concerts with the help of double bassist Erik Coveney (Sierra Hull, Dave Barnes).

Luminaries such as JULES cast Academy Award®-winner Ben Kingsley, Tony Award-Winner Harriet Sansom Harris, Succession star Zoe Winters, and Jade Quon and special guests Karen Allen (“Raiders of the Lost Ark”), Academy Award®-winning producer David Dinerstein (“Summer of Soul”), and more.

To create the full-length album, Monkman sought Polaris Music Prize inaugural winner Owen Pallett to compose sweeping string arrangements, then performed by the FAMES Orchestra. Grammy nominated Michael Peter Olsen, who is a regular in Zoon’s live band, played on the new record as did Zoon’s drummer Andrew McLeod (Sunnsetter).

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Pony Bradshaw releases both the title track and “Mosquitoes” from his upcoming album, North Georgia Rounder, which comes out on January 27th, 2023 (Soundly Music). North Georgia Rounder finds the celebrated musician conjuring the spirit of North Georgia's hill-country and mountains, the area he lovingly calls home. MAITA's fall tour begins on September 16 in Enterprise, OR and Terminal Gravity Brewfest and will include shows in Chicago, Pittsburgh, New York City, Boston, Nashville, Seattle, San Diego, Los Angeles, Portland, a festival performance at Lincoln Calling and more. MAITA will be supporting Weakened Friends on select Midwest dates.

The tour, billed as Sarah Borges with Eric Ambel, will feature the two of them joined by bandmates Keith Voegele and Kenny Soule, with a set that includes songs by Borges’ and some of Ambel’s too in support of both of their new albums. Check out the complete list of tour dates now!
