The Kavinoky Theatre, a professional theatre on the campus of D'Youville, continues its 39th season with Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird, dramatized by Christopher Sergel.

Adapted for the stage, this Pulitzer Prize-winning masterwork of honor and injustice in the deep south is the story of a young girl who witnesses the heroism of one man, and blind hatred in others.

Director Kyle LoConti has assembled a cast of some of Buffalo's finest actors for this beloved American classic which includes Chris Avery as Atticus Finch, with Aleks Malejs, Xavier Harris, Robyn Baun, David Hayes, Shantina Moore, Steve Jakiel, Paul Maisano, Brian Mysliwy, Pamela Mangus, Patrick Moltane, John Profeta, and Johnny Rowe. The rotating double cast of child actors include Isabella Bindemann and Abby Marella as Scout, Simon Mysliwy and Isaac Fesmire as Jem, and Teddy Hibbard and Caden Frank as Dill.

Performances for this four week engagement (March 8th -31st) will take place on Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. The gala opening night performance will be held on Friday, March 8th at 7:30 p.m. and includes a catered wine reception with the cast following the performance.
