The charming acrobats of Australian circus-theater ensemble Circa present a gravity-defying celebration of life on earth, set to French composer Camille Saint-Saens' musical suite Carnival of the Animals. Performing as a human menagerie, the company conjures elephants, kangaroos, swans, and other creatures in an exuberant display of the human body's power and possibility. Young viewers develop a new appreciation of classical music while analyzing the many tactics used to bring recognizable animals to life.
