Boston Playwrights' Theatre (BPT) concludes its 2019-20 season of new plays with Deal Me Out by MJ Halberstadt. The comic drama runs from February 13 to March 1 and is directed by Shana Gozansky.
Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) will celebrate the holidays with the imaginative and radiant The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley, a new companion piece to last season's Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley a?" both based on the characters from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, according to Executive Director Bonnie J. Butkas and Interim Artistic Director Terry Berliner.

Boston Playwrights' Theatre (BPT) today announces the new plays that will comprise its 38th season. The line-up includes The Book Club Play by Karen Zacarías, The Smuggler by Ronan Noone and Deal Me Out by MJ Halberstadt.

Founded in 1981 by Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott, Boston Playwrights’ Theatre is an award-winning professional theatre dedicated specifically to new works for the stage. At the core of our five programs is our MFA in Playwriting, offered as part of Boston University’s renowned English Department and in collaboration with the School of Theatre. Our award-winning alumni have been produced in regional and New York houses as well as in London’s West End, and have garnered city, regional, and national awards including Elliot Norton and Independent Reviewers of New England Awards for Outstanding New Script.
