THE SKIVVIES Head to Provincetown

Peregrine Theatre Ensemble will host New York City's most popular musical duo Lauren Molina (Broadway's Rock of Ages, Sweeney Todd, Mary Zimmerman's Candide - Helen Hayes Award, Marry Me A Little) and Nick Cearley (Broadway First National All Shook Up, Pageant, and on the OUT 100 list as one of the 'most compelling actors of 2014') for two shows at 10pm August 16th and 17th at Fishermen Hall located at 12 Winslow Street Provincetown MA 02657. Tickets are $40 and are available at www.skivviesptown.com. there is a special discounted SEASON PACKAGE, a ticket to their season hit CABARET, and a ticket to The Skivvies.

These two singer/actor/musicians perform stripped down arrangements of eclectic covers and eccentric originals from popular music, classics and Broadway. The Skivvies were born in 2012, when they became YouTube sensations with their unique covers of artists like Robyn, Carole King and Rihanna. The videos led to live shows, and now this "musically thrilling", undie-rock, comedy-pop duo continues to perform to sold-out audiences in New York and beyond. Not only is the music stripped down - cello, ukulele, glockenspiel, melodica - but the Skivvies literally strip down to their underwear to perform.

Joining The Skivvies are a cast of knockout guest performers who are superstars in New York, Cape Cod and beyond! Stripping down and giving you showstopping musical numbers will be: Broadway star Nick Adams (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Falsettos, Wicked, A Chorus Line, Pirate Queen, Guys & Dolls, La Cage Aux Folles, Chicago); TONY Award Nominee Tom Hewitt (The Rocky Horror Show, Doctor Zhivago, Jesus Christ Superstar); Cape Cod's Leading Lady Trish LaRose (Mamma Mia, Merrily We Roll Along) who is currently starring in Sweeney Todd in Provincetown; Travel Channel's Adam Berry (Kindred Spirits on TLC & Travel Channel, Ghost Hunters on SyFy, Rent, Merrily We Roll Along); Provincetown and Tennessee William's Festival favorite Ben Berry (Chicago, Rent, Hamlet, Parade or Approaching The End of a Summer) and Broadway's drag darling and singing sensation Cacophony Daniels (8/16 only!).

Nominated for "Show of The Year" for the 2015 MAC Award, The Wall Street Journal calls them "smart, sophisticated...ingenious," and Out Magazine says, "The Skivvies have managed to carve out a niche
