New Repertory Theatre presents Still Standing, the inspirational one-woman musical written and performed by disability advocate Anita Hollander. The production runs February 9 - March 3, 2019 in the BlackBox Theater at the Mosesian Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA. Tickets are $19-$42 and may be purchased by calling the New Rep Box Office at 617- 923-8487 or visiting newrep.org. Student, senior, and group discounts are available.

"Still Standing is an empowering, expressive one-woman musical," shares New Rep Artistic Director Jim Petosa. "Anita Hollander tells her story in an extraordinarily relatable way, and her message of resilience is one from which we could all learn."

"New Rep is proud to be presenting this witty, honest production," says New Rep Managing Director, Harriet Sheets. "Anita is not only a wonderful performer, but also a major advocate for disabilities in the performing arts. New Rep audiences are sure to appreciate her refreshing perspective."

About Still Standing Anita Hollander lost her leg to cancer in 1977. Still Standing details her story from diagnosis to the very moment of performance. Her leg will not grow back, but her mind, spirit and soul have grown to more than compensate. With songs, wit, understatement, great dollops of humor, but not a smidgen of self- pity, Hollander reaches out to every member of the audience.
