Amanda Jane Cooper and Kyle Taylor Parker Will Headline Broadway in Franklin

The magic of 42nd Street will come to Boston's MetroWest suburbs as stars and students share THE BLACK BOX stage on Sunday, March 24 at 3 pm.

A Broadway revue of show-stopping numbers from the Great White Way, Broadway In Franklin features Broadway headliners Amanda Jane Cooper (WICKED, Glee, Disney's Jessie) and Kyle Taylor Parker (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Kinky Boots, Smokey Joe's Cafe) and appearances by musical theater students from the Franklin School for the Performing Arts and Electric Youth.

Cooper starred as Glinda in WICKED national tour. She then moved to Los Angeles where she landed guest star and recurring roles on Glee, Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Jessie (Disney), Selfie (ABC), and Hello Ladies (HBO). Cooper reprised her role as Glinda in the National Tour of WICKED, visiting over 20 cities for 500 performances for over a million people. She then made her Broadway debut starring as Glinda in WICKED. Almost a year and half later, starring as the show's 15th Anniversary Glinda, she opened NBC's A Very Wicked Halloween with "One Short Day" and closed the special with "For Good" alongside Kristin Chenoweth. Cooper is now one of WICKED's longest running Glinda's.

Kyle Taylor Parker was recently seen in the Off Broadway revival of Smokey Joe's Cafe and in the out-of-town Paper Mill Playhouse tryout of My Very Own British Invasion. He was an original Broadway cast member of Kinky Boots. Parker then went on to appear on Broadway in the original cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. His television credits include NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert. He has toured with Kinky Boots (IRNE Award for Best Visiting Actor) and In the Heights.
