Did you know Ben Jackson Walker before he did &Juliet on Broadway? I wouldn't even call him an up and comer- he's more of a complete unknown before the show. I follow theater very closely and did not know of him before that show. This movie star makes her Broadway debut- who, btw is a POC- and there will always be the person who is complaining. Can't please everyone"

Huh? Zegler is not a POC. She's three quarters Polish, smaller amounts of German and Italian on her dad's side. Colombian on her mom's.

Colombian is not an ethnicity (Latino and Hispanic aren't either). It's a nationality at this point thanks to years of colonialism, like most Latin American countries. There are white Colombians who are descendants from the Spaniards. It's a pretty diverse country.

Kit + Rachel with music by Jack Antonoff is a Gen Z wet dream. Regardless of whether they can afford tickets, the buzz around this is going to be insane.

I already saw someone online promising to go live from the stagedoor. For f*cks sake they need to chill. I don't think RZ is all that anyway to be honest but don't go spreading that

If this does go to Circle in the Square, what's happening with Swept Away?  It was the last show rumored to be going there.

They could be doing a Spring Awakening type approach with contemporary pop songs set into a period text, I suppose?

That can't be. There's no lyricist. Jack Antonoff is just writing music. It could be that this production is "a play with music"

Unless they’re setting some Shakespeare to music, which wouldn’t be without precedent.

Does anyone know when to go on sale for this? I don’t know how reliable nytix.com is but the website is saying tickets go on sale May 4.

I hope this production is reasonably priced due to solely based on its slogan. If they want to use youg and gen Z theatergoers to come, they better cheap tickets.

Are there any significant differences between Gold and Lloyd's direction in general? They seem to be very similar in terms of directing and the only difference them is one's American while the other's English.
