I can't seem to search this board anymore, so I can't find the old one.

Swimming in the Dark. Tomasz Jedrowski. Very good.

Apparently There Were Complaints by actress Sharon Gless. Highly recommended!

^^^ The Gless book was fun didn't know she had so little formal training.

Finishing  Shy: The Alarmingly Outspoken Memoirs of Mary Rodgers  boy she really dishes about everyone. Loved the admission that she was in love w Sondheim from childhood and the stuff about their "trial marriage"  She is just as hard on herself as she is on everyone else so I really felt it comes off fair. She is esp sanguine about her 1st marriage to a closeted older gay man

The death of one of her children is sad but is dealt with almost superficially like I may have to talk about this but I'm not going to let you feast on the remains..

Highly recommend

I’ve heard only great things about Rogers book. Can’t wait to get my copy.

I’ve started “ Self Made Man”  by Norah Vincent who recently died. It came out a few years ago and was a best seller and caused controversy. A few chapters in and I love it.

Finishing "Life and Lessons From Broadway And Beyond: Gemignani" at home.

Reading "Grease - Tell Me More, Tell Me More" on the train.

Next book up is "The Westies: Inside New York's Irish Mob".  I was recently in the presence of a few people who knew a lot about the mobs at that time and one told me it was a good book to read.

I finished The Justice of Kings by Richard Swan.
A good start to this trilogy
I'm not a big fan of crime fiction (which slowed me down a bit in the first half), but I was intrigued by the characters and the story.

I like crime, but only the more fun ones like Inspector Montalbano, or older ones like Patricia Highsmith or 20th century British ones like Margery Allingham.

I'm about to start the new Andrew Sean Greer one, the sequel to his Pulitzer winner. Less is More.

I've never liked audiobooks, I prefer to read the story in my own voice. Recently however, I've started listening to autobiographies and memoirs... but only if they're read by the author. It's nice to hear their story from their own mouth. Mia Farrow.Woody Allen.Walter Kronkite. Sinéad O'Connor.Patti LuPone. They're like one big podcast.

Strange to scold people for buying a ticket to Cursed Child while giving money to Woody Allen.

Nice attempt at a gotcha, but I disagree.

I consciously made an effort to consider "both sides" of this story, so read both "What Falls Away" by Mia Farrow, and "Apropos of Nothing" by Woody Allen. The single allegation against him is so heinous that I was reluctant to unthinkingly give in to mob rule. I don't see anything wrong with that.

JK Rowling undisputably undeniably publically and proudly gives support to unabashed dangerous unrelenting transphobic hate groups. Not the same thing.

A Killer's Mind by Mike Omer

As a fan of detective/crime books can say that this one is great. The plot is very interesting. I'm also working on my dissertation, and I read a few psychological books where I look for some useful informational pieces. If someone is interested in psychology, I can recommend Thinking, Fast, and Slow by Daniel Kahneman which is a very interesting and informative book. It helped me a lot with my paper, but I still used some help from https://essays.edubirdie.com/dissertation-proposal-writing-services because it's a very complicated paper, and it needs to be perfect, so I think professional help will be beneficial for me. And if someone can recommend me some additional reading, I'd be grateful.

I’ve been reading “Taking Shape” volumes one and two: I’m a horror nerd and a writer, so the battle for control and narrative direction of the Halloween franchise is fascinating to me. (It’s not as famous as Jon Peters and his robot spider fetish, but somebody at the studio was obsessed with the notion of using virtual reality to defeat Michael Myers. They tried to shoehorn it everywhere for a few years.)

I’m also reading Jo Firestone’s “Murder on Sex Island.” I like her light, funny and slightly absurdist tone. Reminds me of a grown-up Daniel Pinkwater.

I agree, it seems to me that it is better to read books than listen to audio versions. However, the idea of voicing the authors of these books is quite interesting. Such great books and they inspire me to write academic papers at university. I believe what makes professional nursing essay writing services stand out is their commitment to providing top-notch content. These platforms often employ experts with extensive experience in the field of nursing, which ensures the accuracy and reliability of the articles they publish.
