With a voice of silk and chiffon and a spirit of brass and iron, Ninette Griffith worked in Birmingham’s temple of style and fashion back in the 1950s and 1960s. In Her Own Fashion shares the stories of Loveman’s Department Store’s fashion coordinator, featuring reckless romance, celebrity hi-jinks, fashion disasters, and the adventures of a life cut from a pattern of her own design.
