"Tragedy tomorrow, comedy tonight!" Broadway's greatest farce is light, fast-paced, witty, irreverent and one of the funniest musicals ever written-the perfect escape from life's troubles. "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" takes comedy back to its roots, combining situations from time-tested, 2000 year old comedies of Roman playwright Plautus with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville. The result is a non-stop laugh-fest in which a crafty slave (Pseudolus) struggles to win the hand of a beautiful but slow-witted courtesan (Philia) for his young master (Hero), in exchange for freedom.

The Way Off Broadway Announces 30th Anniversary Season

The 2024 Season marks a landmark for one of the area's most established and respected theatre organizations. With the opening of Agatha Christie's A Murder is Announced on January 19, 2024, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will kick off its Blockbuster 30th Anniversary Season. To celebrate the milestone, WOB's producers have announced a line-up that includes regional premiere productions of some of the newest and biggest name shows to appear on Broadway in recent seasons.

WOB's 25th Anniversary Season Concludes With Summer Production

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2018/2019 Season has been a landmark for what has become a staple of the region's theatrical community. As the season opened this past September with its production of the family-favorite Annie, Way Off Broadway kicked off its 25th year of bringing live entertainment to the stage.
