Sam Yankovich has been critically reviewing drama, classical music, and opera since 2012, focusing on work in San Francisco as well as New York. Subjects of his writing include the recent production of Wagner’s “Ring Cycle” at San Francisco Opera as well as a piece delving into the difference in directorial visions between the Broadway and Berkeley Repertory productions of “Angels In America.” Mr. Yankovich grew up in Sonoma, CA and is currently attending New York University. In addition to writing, he also works as a director, stage manager, and dramaturge.
