Comedy queen and RuPaul’s Drag Race champion Bianca Del Rio has announced her return to the UK with her new stand-up comedy tour, Dead Inside. The tour will take the drag queen icon to 11 different locations across the United Kingdom from 11 to 25 September 2024 including visits to London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and more. Presales begin on Friday 10 and Monday 13 May with tickets on general sale on Tuesday 14 May at 9am.

The HBO Original documentary Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes, will debut Saturday, August 3rd on HBO and will be available to stream on Max. The film will have its world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes offers an unprecedented exploration into the life of Elizabeth Taylor, Hollywood’s quintessential star.

The first film has a tentative title of The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum and will be directed by the Gollum actor, who will also reprise his iconic role from the earlier installments. The film is planned for a 2026 release, with the team already in the early stages of development on the screenplay. Peter Jackson will also return to the franchise as producer alongside Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens.

Universal has just released a new trailer for the upcoming horror movie A Quiet Place: Day One starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn. The film is a prequel to the acclaimed series directed by John Krasinski and is set on the day that the world went quiet due to the arrival of killer alien creatures. Watch the new trailer!

SiriusXM has announced the launch of “Where Everybody Knows Your Name with Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson (Sometimes),” a new original podcast hosted by the Emmy Award-winning actors and friends. Premiering June 12, the podcast will see Ted and Woody reconnect 30 years after the end of their acclaimed sitcom “Cheers,” joined by a plethora of exciting guests.

With over fifteen years and six albums under their belt, California’s own Joyce Manor made their live TV debut and played two of their most beloved songs on ‘John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA’ last night live via Netflix. Personally requested by Mulaney, the band performed 2011’s stand out track “Constant Headache” and “Catalina Fight Song” from 2014’s ‘Never Hungover Again.’

Swamp Dogg has released “Ugly Man’s Wife,” the final pre-release single to be pulled from his forthcoming album Blackgrass: From West Virginia to 125th St out May 31 via Oh Boy Records. About the new single, Swamp Dogg explains: “I wrote ‘Ugly Man’s Wife’ with one of my favorite co-writers, Bob Jones, now deceased. I promised him that I would record it on my next album. Netflix has announced that the comedy special Jo Koy: Live From Brooklyn will premiere globally on June 4, 2024. The special was filmed at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY in November 2023. This marks Koy’s fifth special with Netflix, following Live From The Los Angeles Forum (2022), Comin’ In Hot (2019),  and Live From Seattle (2017), in addition to his variety special In His Elements (2020). 

Snow Strippers have shared their new EP, Night Killaz Vol. 2, via Surf Gang Records. Since their debut singles in 2021, Snow Strippers have been dropping a series or mixtapes, EPs, a self-titled album.
