In an alternate universe, Beth Balmanno would be a Broadway star. Since she can’t really sing and she definitely can’t act, she settles for the next best thing: watching as many musicals and plays as she can—and then writing about them! A resident of Minneapolis, she frequents a variety of theatrical venues: high school, community theater, and numerous stages, big and small, in the Twin Cities area. She has also dabbled on the production side, writing and directing three plays for kids. When she’s not sitting in a theater or singing along to Broadway soundtracks, she can be found covering events for her local paper or cooking up stories of her own as a novelist and playwright.
