Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart had many suggestions on his journey to Mannheim and Paris in 1777/78
receive. He burned out from this inspiration to develop their own works. in 1780 he was awarded by the
Munich court commissioned to write the Opera for the Carnival 1781. Idomeneo is therefore a
