What do you always think of come the holiday season? Are you more of a The Nutcracker kind of person? Is It's A Wonderful Life on repeat? Do you have an annual rewatch of A Christmas Carol? Take a trip into the theatres around Atlanta with our top picks to keep you in a festive mood.
As Alice Cooper sings, “School’s out for summer!” Here in the South, the temperature rises, and everyone flocks to indoor activities like movies, shopping, and the closest air conditioning. Instead of these boring activities, why not find your way to one of Atlanta’s theatres?
Atlanta Lyric Theatre presents this stunning classic April 12-28, 2019. The "Greatest Movie Musical of All Time" is faithfully and lovingly adapted by Broadway legends, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, from their original award-winning screenplay in SINGIN' in the RAIN. Each unforgettable scene, song and dance is accounted for, including the show-stopping title number, complete with an onstage rainstorm and three Broadway alums! SINGIN' in the RAIN performs at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre (548 South Marietta Pkwy., Marietta).
