Disney on Broadway is celebrating its 25th anniversary! With that big milestone, comes a big announcement.

Thomas Schumacher, the president and producer of Disney Theatrical, has revealed in a recent feature on Nightline, that he is working on a revival of Beauty and the Beast.

"I'm not announcing location or time," he said. "But I am deep in it, so yeah, it's happening."

The feature also sat down with stars from Frozen, Aladdin, and The Lion King, to discuss what it has been like putting iconic characters from Disney films up on stage.

Disney's currently running Broadway shows include Frozen, Aladdin, and The Lion King. Disney Theatrical Productions, a division of The Walt Disney Studios, was formed in 1994 and operates under the direction of Thomas Schumacher. Worldwide, its 10 Broadway titles have been seen by over 160 million theatergoers and have been nominated for 60 Tony Awards, winning Broadway's highest honor 20 times. With more than 20 productions currently produced or licensed, a Disney musical is being performed professionally somewhere on the planet virtually every hour of the day.
