LIVING ON LOVE (August 15-September 2) By Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin. A sparkling new comedy. Sparks fly, silverware is thrown and mad romance blossoms in unexpected ways. Raquel, a celebrated, yet demanding diva, and Vito, her Italian maestro husband, need cash to maintain their colorful 1957 lifestyle. Voilà! Vito will write his memoirs! Raquel soon discovers Vito has become enamored with the career girl he hired as a ghostwriter. Raquel’s legendary temper takes hold and she hires a handsome scribe of her own! A glamorous, hilarious romp through the world of music, marriage, celebrity, and LOVE!

Peninsula Players Theatre has announced the public launch of its capital campaign, Act II: Protecting the Past, Ensuring the Future.  Through the Act II Housing Campaign, the theater plans to raise $3.5 million to build two new dormitories which will replace the aged, insufficient structures in which members of the company currently reside.

When the theater's 2021 season comes to a close, Artistic Director Greg Vinkler will step down from administrative duties and retire. Linda Fortunato, a dedicated company member of 17 seasons at Peninsula Players, has been appointed associate artistic director and will work alongside Vinkler throughout the 2021 season.

'Silent Sky' tells the story of unsung astronomer Henrietta Swan Leavitt, whose discoveries at Harvard Observatory in the 1890s opened the galaxies above. 'Silent Sky' performs August 21 through September 1.
