Studio Theatre has announced the cast of their production of Fun Home, with performances starting June 28. The musical, with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, is based on the autobiographical graphic novel of the same name by cartoonist and writer Alison Bechdel.
'Two Jews Walk into a War. . .' manages to only retread oft-explored grounds, and fails to even do so in a unique or particularly insightful way.
Beginning on January 11 and running through February 5, 2023, Theater J will bring Two Jews Walk Into a War… A Vaudeville to the stage. The play, which has been updated for this production, is written by Seth Rozin and will be directed by former Theater J Artistic Director Adam Immerwahr.
The Edlavitch DCJCC has announced that Adam Immerwahr, Theater J’s Artistic Director since December 2015, will be departing in July to be the Artistic Director of Village Theatre in Issaquah, WA.
Theater J has announced Theater J’s 32nd season, which includes five plays and a bonus return engagement of a musical masterpiece.
