Summertime is the best time to transport yourself into a nostalgic world as Freeform celebrates “30 Days of Disney” with legendary Disney films starting June 1. The programming event will feature the world television premiere of Disney-Pixar’s animated film “Lightyear.” Other Freeform premieres include Disney-Pixar’s “Soul” and Disney Animation’s “Fantasia” (1940 and 2000). Today’s subject Stephen Oremus has been living his theatre life for many years now as a music director/pianist/orchestrator/arranger/musical supervisor. His career is something many of us dream of having but very few of us actually achieve. His current project brings him full circle. Stephen is the Musical Supervisor/Arranger/Orchestrator for Kennedy Center’s Broadway Center Stage production of tick, tick..BOOM! which is running through February 4th in the Eisenhower Theater. Stephen was the show’s original Orchestrator/Arranger/Musical Director in 2001. His work can be heard on the original cast recording.

Jonathan Groff has joined the new season of Doctor Who in a 'mysterious' key role. Groff will join RuPaul's Drag Race and recent Chicago breakout star Jinkx Monsoon in the new series. Monsoon will be playing a villain, alongside Ncuti Gatwa, the new Doctor, and Yasmin Finney.

For the 2nd year, the Châtelet Musical Club is growing, inviting artists from different countries and backgrounds to share their love and talent for musical theater in the intimate grand foyer of the Théâtre du Châtelet, which, under the helm of Jean-Luc Choplin, has for the past decade been the new temple of musical theater, introducing the French to the genius of Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein (among others) and serving as the home for the first ever tryout in Paris with An American in Paris in 2014.

As students, sometimes we feel like we have lots of things to do and writing them on our phones it’s not always the best option. So this time I’ll share with you why I still love agendas.

Broadway couple Patti Murin and Colin Donnell will be releasing their first joint album! Titled Something Stupid afer the 1967 Carson and Gaile song, the album will be released on November 18.
