Missoula Childrens Theatre Performs at the Dorset PlayhouseThe Dorset Players will be presenting the Missoula Children's Theatre production of The Tortoise Versus the Hare: the Greatest Race for two performances on Saturday, January 25th.Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at this old favorite when the residents of Sandy Bottoms prepare for the highlight of their year the annual race between the Mammals and the Reptiles. The cast will feature more than 50 local students performing on stage and taking on backstage responsibilities.The Missoula Children's Theatre residency is presented by The Dorset Players with support from Presenting Sponsors Berkshire Bank and Sheila Childs. Show Sponsors are Above All Vermont and Rug Crazy. The Players also thank The Stewarts Shops for their holiday match grant to help fund the production. 2020 marks the 15th year that The Dorset Players will be presenting the Missoula company at the Playhouse.The Tortoise Versus the Hare: the Greatest Race will be presented on January 25th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Dorset Playhouse Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for youths and are available at dorsetplayers.org or by calling the box office at 802-867-5777.The Dorset Players, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that owns the historic Dorset Playhouse and presents live theatre from October to May. The Players mission is dedicated to fostering the arts in the community through theatrical presentations and to provide growth and educational opportunities to both children and adults through a variety of theatrical experiences.
