On May 26, 1993, when the Princess of Wales Theatre officially opened, it solidified Toronto’s growing status as a major urban centre. Take a look back at the theatre's 30 year history!
Gone are the days where Juliet is a tragic, gone-to-soon character in a Shakespeare play; she’s given a new lease on life in a new musical, with a diverse cast of characters and enough pop power anthems to have audiences dancing in their seats, no matter their age.
Get a first look of the cast of &Juliet in rehearsals for their pre-Broadway engagement before the show opens in Toronto at The Princess of Wales Theatre.
The cast of the North American premiere production of & Juliet includes Tony winners, acclaimed actors from the U.S., Canada and England, and exciting new talent.
David Mirvish will soon welcome back audiences to all four Mirvish theatres after a closure of 18 months. The return season includes a seven-show Main Season Subscription, a three-show Off-Mirvish Subscription, and the return of two immensely popular hits, Come From Away and Hamilton.
The 2020/21 Mirvish Theatre Season has been announced, featuring 13 shows, including the North American premiere of & Juliet!
