Today, NBC revealed new photos of the all-star cast of HAIRSPRAY LIVE! in character. The highly anticipated musical broadcast will air Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and will originate from Los Angeles.

The cast of NBC's HAIRSPRAY LIVE, Derek Hough, Kristin Chenoweth, Harvey Fierstein, Maddie Baillio, Jennifer Hudson, and Ariana Grande appeared at the NBCUniversal Summer Press Tour.

The cast and crew of NBC's acclaimed production of THE WIZ LIVE! reunited Wednesday, June 1 at Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles for a panel discussion and live musical performances.

At today's upfront presentation, NBC debuted the artwork for its upcoming live presentation of Aaron Sorkin's A FEW GOOD MEN, set to air in early 2017. Check it out below!

Second Stage Theatre will soon present the New York premiere production of SMART PEOPLE, the new play by LYDIA R. DIAMOND (Stick Fly), directed by Tony® Award winner KENNY LEON (A Raisin in the Sun, The Wiz Live!). MAHERSHALA ALI (House of Cards), JOSHUA JACKSON (The Affair), ANNE SON (My Generation), and TESSA THOMPSON (Creed) will co-star in the production. Performances for SMART PEOPLE will begin on January 26, 2016 at Second Stage Theatre's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street); opening night is February 11, 2016. The 26th annual edition of Gypsy of the Year raised a record-breaking $5,229,611 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, thanks to six weeks of fundraising by 64 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies. The grand total was announced Tuesday, December 9, 2014, by special guests Hugh Jackman, Nathan Lane and Judith Light after two stellar performances of original dances, songs and skits by more than 200 'gypsies' from Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. ANNIE, the new production of the Tony Award-winning musical, went into rehearsal today in New York City with its full company. The production begins previews October 3, 2012 and opens November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). Meet the full cast below!

The Encores! Summer Stars production of The Wiz, starring Ashanti, LaChanze and Orlando Jones, will open on Thursday, June 18 at New York City Center. (Previews begin June 12). Easing down the road with Ashanti's Dorothy will be Joshua Henry, James Monroe Iglehart, Christian White, Tichina Arnold and Dawnn Lewis.

Upright Cabaret at Mark's Restaurant was filled to the brim with two sold-out star-studded audiences as Valarie Pettiford took to the stage with her new show inspired by the things she is thankful for in her life; including her well deserved Tony Nomination in 'Fosse', her family whom she said 'filled her life with music' and of course, her fans who have supported her on her journey from her first job in the legendary film 'The Wiz' to her work in UPN's 'Half and Half.'
