Tony Award winning stage and screen star Kristin Chenoweth appeared at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble to celebrate the release of her upcoming memoir, 'A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages,' on April 15th, 2009. The smash hit musical WICKED celebrated its 1000th performance at the sell-out matinee on Saturday 14 February. The award-winning musical opened at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre in September 2006 and is now in its third year. Acknowledged as 'the West End's most successful musical' (The Independent on Sunday), WICKED has already been seen by almost two million people and taken over ?67 million at the Box Office.

Only two weeks remain for Chicagoans to see WICKED, the musical phenomenon that has changed Chicago for good. Performances have been selling out but good seats are still available for Tuesday and Wednesday performances with limited availability for weekends. The WICKED drawing will continue to take place for all performances. WICKED will take its final bow in Chicago on January 25, 2009.

Audiences have just six weeks to catch the magic that has entranced the Windy City for three and a half years. The Chicago company of WICKED will take its final bow after the 2 p.m. performance on Sunday, January 25, 2009, following a record-breaking open run at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre.

Mayor Gavin Newsom proclaimed 'A WICKED Day in San Francisco,' welcoming the international phenomenon back to the city where it had its world premiere. At a special Homecoming Party in Union Square, WICKED Producer David Stone accepted a proclamation from Luis Cancel, Director of Cultural Affairs for the City and County of San Francisco on behalf of Mayor Newsom. Producer David Stone was in San Francisco for the Homecoming as tickets went on sale for the open-ended engagement of WICKED, which begins performances at the Orpheum Theatre January 27, 2009. He was joined by cast members performing in Union Square for a group of enthusiastic fans.
