A darling of the Broadway community for years, on Sunday, CAROUSEL's Lindsay Mendez won her first Tony Award. In her acceptance speech, she told a story about how she was encouraged to change her last name when she began her career. The company of Carousel had reason to celebrate this week, as the show picked up eleven Tony nominations. One of them went to the outstanding choreography of Justin Peck, who makes his Broadway debut with this piece. Watch as the company brings his vision to life on the Imperial stage below!
