The Red Clay Strays made their late-night television debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last night performing their new single, “Wanna Be Loved.” “Wanna Be Loved” is the first song unveiled from The Red Clay Strays’ highly anticipated new album, Made by These Moments, which will be released July 26. In addition to appearing at several of the year’s top rock festivals—including Rock Fest, Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock—FROM ASHES TO NEW will head back out across the U.S. with their Better Noise Music labelmates NOTHING MORE alongside Set It Off and Post Profit. FROM ASHES TO NEW join the tour September 3 in Little Rock, AR through September 24 in Cleveland, OH.

As we all know, the 23/24 Broadway theatre season has been one of the busiest in a very long time with many new plays and musicals opening within a short period. One of those shows was The Notebook. It features a score by pop writer Ingrid Michaelson and a book by Bekah Brunsetter. The show had a pre-Broadway tryout in Chicago where it was met with unanimous rave reviews.

GRAMMY® Award winning duo Twenty One Pilots have released their massively anticipated new album Clancy. Fashion Club has shared her first new single in two years, “Rotten Mind,” the haunting, string-laden electro-acoustic number featuring wispy backing vocals from Julie Byrne. The track is a pointed rebuke aimed at those who oppress and control people under the guise of helping them, often with a lens of patronizing paternalism and concerning issues such as bodily autonomy, racial injustice, class inequality and trans rights. Buffalo, NY based Super American have announced a headlining fall tour presented by Emo Night Brooklyn, with support from Sydney Sprague and Summerbruise. Dates will kick off on August 1 in Toronto at Hard Luck, wrapping up on September 22 in Columbus, OH at Ace of Cups with shows in New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, Chicago, Boston and more along the way.

Redd Kross has shared the rousing new single “Born Innocent,” the second song made available from the highly anticipated 18-track eponymous double-album, due for release June 28, 2024. “Born Innocent” appears in the closing credits of the brilliant documentary Born Innocent: The Redd Kross Story, directed by Andrew Reich, who has also directed the video that accompanies the single’s release, which features footage from the must-see documentary. Originally released on Absolutely Free in 1967, the track shows off the quick wit and crooning style of the wonderful singer Ray Collins. The song, played in the first of the three sets that night, was written as a parody of the days when Zappa played the Calif. bar circuit in the early ‘60s. This release follows a previously unreleased version of “The Duke,” which at the time of the Whisky ’68 recording was a brand new composition. Listen to the song now!

RIAA Gold-certified and 3x Grammy Award-nominated rock mainstays NOTHING MORE, May 21, have announced their headlining “Carnal Tour 2024” produced by Live Nation. Earlier this week, NOTHING MORE wrapped up their co-headlining spring tour with Wage War which sold out various shows. The late summer “Carnal” tour will kick off in the U.S. on August 31 in Columbia, MO and stretch to September 24 in Cleveland, OH.
