Albert Schultz, Founding Artistic Director of Soulpepper Theatre Company and General Director of the Young Centre for the Performing Arts today announced a full year's slate of artistic and community-based activity for Soulpepper and the Young Centre in 2013. After a three-year absence, Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway returns to the 47th Street Theatre with a brand new edition, Forbidden Broadway: ALIVE AND KICKING. The show, which opened on September 6, will run for a limited engagement through January 6, 2013. This production will mark Forbidden Broadway's 30th Anniversary, as well as its 21st edition.

According to an Equity casting notice, MOTOWN The Musical, which is set to open on Broadway in the Spring of 2013, will hold a workshop September 10-30. The show is set to begin Broadway rehearsals in January, with previews set for March 11.

But the 32nd annual Inge Festival in 2013 changes pace: honoring its namesake American icon William Inge, to celebrate the centennial of his birth.
