Van Wezel Celebrates Elvis's Birthday with BLUE SUEDE SHOES

Celebrate Elvis' birthday with Blue Suede Shoes: The Premier Elvis Birthday Bash - a tribute not to be missed on Thursday, January 10 at 8 p.m. Scot Bruce and Mike Albert will have you "all shook up" with the most authentic "King of Rock 'n Roll" experience - LIVE at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall!

Mike Albert's "Ultimate Tribute" show has earned him worldwide recognition for his respectful portrayal of the late Elvis Presley. His tours across the U.S., Europe, Australia and New Zealand have featured the very bands that backed Elvis, such as the legendary Jordanaires and J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet. Albert has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and won several major Elvis contests around the world.

Scot Bruce's uncanny resemblance to Elvis along with his ability to sing, strum a guitar and swivel his hips has taken him across the U.S. and all over the world. He has performed with the legendary Jordanaires and appeared as "Elvis at 21" at the Smithsonian's prestigious Elvis exhibit in 2011. Scot played Elvis on E! Entertainment Network's True Hollywood Story: Elvis in Hollywood. Bruce has appeared in music videos with Faith Hill and Sheryl Crow portraying a young Elvis, and he held recurring roles on the hit soap operas Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful.
