Three-time Grammy Award-winner Sarah McLachlan returns to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Tuesday, February 26 at 8 p.m. With over 40 million albums sold worldwide and 12 Juno Awards to her name, McLachlan was recently inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and has solidified her status as one of the most celebrated singer-songwriters in the entertainment industry.

In addition to her personal artistic accolades, Sarah McLachlan's philanthropic efforts have impacted many lives. From an early age, McLachlan delved into music as a means of navigating the challenges of her life. She founded the Sarah McLachlan School of Music in 2002 - a non-profit organization that provides top quality music instruction in a safe and nurturing environment to at-risk and underserved children and youth at no cost. She also founded the Lilith Fair tour, showcasing female musicians and raising over $7 million for local and national charities. Additionally, she famously lent her voice to numerous ads sponsored by the American Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), generating over $30 million for the cause.

Sarah McLachlan released her seventh studio album, Shine On, in 2014. She received a Juno Award for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year for this album, which takes listeners through her personal journey of love, loss and change. Her 2016 Christmas album and most recent release, Wonderland, earned her a Juno Award for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year and a Grammy Nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
