The Berkeley Rep School of Theatre today announced its Summer Theatre programs for high school students: Summer Theatre Intensive, which takes place July 6-17, 2020; and Filmmaking Intensive, which takes place July 20-31, 2020.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Executive Director Jennifer Bielstein and Artistic Director Pam MacKinnon announced today that the remaining two productions of A.C.T.'s 2019/20 mainstage seasona?"Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show and Qui Nguyen's Poor Yella Rednecks: Vietgone Part 2a?"have been canceled.

A.C.T. is a constituent of Theatre Communications Group, the national organization for the nonprofit professional theater.A.C.T. operates under an agreement between the League of Resident Theaters and Actors’ Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers in the United States. A.C.T. is a member of the League of Resident Theaters, Theatre Bay Area, Union Square Association, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, and San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau. The directors employed by A.C.T. at the American Conservatory Theater are members of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, Inc., an independent national labor union.
