In this spiritual sequel to last season’s hit The Rita Hayworth of this Generation, butch dyke Angel thinks she’s having one of the best days of her life. She’s gaining buy-in from an NBC producer for her new show, which will highlight legendary Latine movie stars during the McCarthy era. But a mysterious femme-fatale steps into the scene, threatening to create chaos with Angel’s wife and Angel’s life.

In 2017 The Rhino celebrated its 40th Anniversary as the longest-running LGBT theatre in the world. In 2019 we were invited to march in the Resist Contingent of the San Francisco Pride Parade (right after the Dykes on Bikes!) in recognition of our long-running commitment to activism, social justice and visibility. Our history continues as we have landed at Spark Arts (in the heart of Castro!,) where all Rhino shows are produced.
