You are invited to a reading (with a professional director and actors) of Judge Lee Sarokin’s new play – The Wedding Cake. The play is about two couples, strangers to each other, who quarrel over an incident which appears to be trivial at the moment, but develops into a bitter dispute with each couple suffering consequences they never envisioned over something they thought so small. Sarokin “hopes the play engenders strong feelings and results in a provocative discussion during the talk-back.”
Based on an actual event.... Bakery discriminates and refuses to make a wedding cake for a gay couple.
