Based on the 1963 coming-of-age classic and scripted by Terry Johnson, The Graduate follows Benjamin Braddock, a twenty-one year old recent college graduate who is facing high expectations from his parents and anxiety about his future. Upon his return home, Ben is seduced by an older woman, Mrs. Robinson – the wife of his father’s business partner – which begins a secret affair. Although the affair ends, it comes back to haunt him when he falls for Mrs. Robinson’s daughter, Elaine.
"The Graduate" opens July 26th. The play is adapted by Terry Johnson, based on the novel by Charles Webb and the motion picture screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry, by special arrangement with StudioCanal. The play is directed by Lance Nuttman.
