Tears and Glitter, a staged reading
by Mikki Gillette
Set against a backdrop of anti-trans legislation and hostility, Tears and Glitter follows Tara and Dita, trans women exes, Quinn, an activist turned recluse, Collier a nonbinary person whose politics begin moving toward violence, and Murph, a young trans person who pines for Dita. As white nationalists threaten Pride, and romantic betrayals are revealed, the tensions take the characters places they never thought they'd go.
