Sunday A'Fair Brings Live Entertainment to Scottsdale Civic Center Mall

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts kicks off its 32nd season of the popular Sunday A'Fair free outdoor concert series on Sunday, Jan. 13, with a performance by Treasurefruit from noon - 12:45 p.m. and Sugartheives from 2-4 p.m.

A total of 10 free Sunday A'Fair events showcasing more than 20 musical acts from Arizona-based musicians are planned, including blues, country, jazz, R&B, rock, pop and more. The concerts take place in Scottsdale Civic Center Mall on selected Sunday afternoons through April 7, and are made possible through the generosity of presenting sponsor Nationwide.

Among Sunday A'Fair's musical highlights are a Motown-themed day for Peace and Community Day featuring artists, Sandra Bassett and The Magic of Doc Jones & the All-Stars Band with Special Guests Gina Fletcher and Larry Bailey, and Soul Power on Jan. 20 in collaboration with the City of Scottsdale's Office of Diversity and Inclusion; Cuban flutist, percussionist and rapper La Dame Blanche on Feb. 24 as part of La Gran Fiesta: A Celebration of Latin and Hispanic Cultures; Paul Carroll and Stilicho on March 17 for St. Patrick's Day; La Luz de la Luna and Jaleo on March 31; and closing out Sunday A'Fair are country and bluegrass favorites, Tessa Karrys and Nolan McKelvey & Muskellunge on April 7.

Along with free musical entertainment, each Sunday A'Fair includes a pop-up arts market and artist-led activities for children and families.

Guests are invited to bring a blanket to sit on the lawn or low-sitting lawn chairs to enjoy great food, friends, and free live performances. Delicious food from the grill, gourmet desserts, cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks are also available for purchase. Additionally, patrons can bring their own picnic baskets and pets to the park.
