Arden Theatre Company's TREASURE ISLAND Puts A Unique Female Twist On The Swashbuckling Tale

Let your imagination set sail! Audiences of all ages are invited to "walk the plank" at Arden Theatre Company this spring as they present a unique twist on the swashbuckling tale TREASURE ISLAND. Single tickets for the production, which runs April 3 through June 2 on Arden's Arcadia Stage, are currently on sale.

"We are thrilled to be bringing TREASURE ISLAND to life for Arden Children's
Theatre this Spring," said Artistic Director Terry Nolen. "We are committed to bringing the same resources and commitment to excellence these productions as we do to the rest of our season. Our kids deserve our very best, and we strive to make theatre that will inspire, delight and, hopefully, remember for many years to come."

Based on the popular book by Robert Louis Stevenson and adapted for the stage by Toby Hulse, this tale of TREASURE ISLAND focuses on Emily, a young girl with big dreams, who transforms her living room into the wild seas. Emily will encourage the audience to use their imagination as she joins Long John Silver in a world of buccaneers, buried treasure and swashbuckling adventure.

Featured in the TREASURE ISLAND cast are Eliana Fabiyi as Emily, Robi Hager as Morgan Blood, Renika Williams as Jack Abraham, Jamison Foreman as One-Eyed Bart, and Mary Tuomanen as Mary Ann Evans (Capt. Long John Silver). The production is directed by Doug Hara.
