It was clear that bringing this group back for a return season was a very good move on the part of the Festival Director, Jacinta Thompson, with the audience leaving the performance with big smiles on their faces.

As the 2013 OzAsia Festival draws to a triumphant close this weekend, the annual celebration of cultural diversity continues on its path to success, contributing cultural value to South Australia and shortening the bridge between our Asian neighbours. To date the Festival boasts nine sold out performances and events, great critical acclaim and audience feedback.

Proudly supported by the Government of South Australia and Major Festival partner Santos, the culturally diverse and rich OzAsia Festival will run from today, 13 - 29 September and play host to 28 performances and 47 events featuring 195 artists and presenters from across the globe.

Artists and Community groups along with Minister Assisting the Minister for the Arts, Chloe Fox MP will be in attendance as the Adelaide Festival Centre's 2013 OzAsia Festival program is unveiled this evening Thursday 27 July from 5.30pm in Adelaide Festival Centre's Banquet Room.

The cultural melting pot bubbled over during the fourth annual OzAsia Festival: through story-telling, theatre, dance, music, visual arts and film South Australians united and celebrated the rich and diverse cultural offerings of Asia and its interactions with Australia.

The Adelaide Festival Centre's OzAsia Festival's favourite annual community gathering The Moon Lantern Festival on 22 September saw over 18,000 people converging on Elder Park to enjoy the free performances, eat moon cakes and watch the parade of over 800 school children and community group members with home-made lanterns to celebrate and admire the beauty of the full moon.
