The first national touring production of the 2017 Best Musical Tony Award-winner Dear Evan Hansen will return to Chicago by popular demand for a limited 12-week engagement July 7 through September 27, 2020, at Broadway In Chicago's James M. Nederlander Theatre (24 W. Randolph). Individual tickets for the Dear Evan Hansen return engagement will go on-sale to the public Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at 10 a.m. Central, and pre-sale tickets will be available starting Monday, February 18 through Broadway In Chicago's eblast and Dear Evan Hansen's social media channels.

Complete casting has been announced for the Canadian production of the multi Tony Award-winning musical. Performances begin March 5, 2019 at Toronto's historic Royal Alexandra Theatre.

On April 19, 2018 Project Broadway presented the 2nd annual Broadway and Beyond: Careers in the Theater panel to the 7th and 8th grade students at St Hope Leadership Academy in Harlem. This special event was presented in partnership with Harlem Grown. In this workshop, Broadway experts came together to be part of an interactive panel where they offered their own insight, education and advice on having a career in the entertainment industry. 

Casting call! BroadwayCon is seeking specialty acts for the second annual BroadwayCon Star To Be competition in partnership with the Jimmy Awards, the annual high school musical theatre showcase presented by The Broadway League Foundation. Up to ten finalists will be selected to perform on the BroadwayCon MainStage for a panel of three celebrity judges and a room full of fellow Broadway fans on Saturday, January 27, 2018.
