Estelle Releases Amazon Original HOME, Produced By Adrian Younge

Today, British singer-songwriter Estelle released a new song “Home”, as part of the latest Amazon Original “Produced By” series on Amazon Music. Producer Adrian Younge is releasing a four-track collection throughout the month as part of the new installment, only available to stream and purchase on Amazon Music. ”Home” follows last Friday's release of Georgia Anne Muldrow and Terrace Martin's Adrian Younge-produced song “February.”

In her Musco Center debut, the eldest daughter of country music icon Johnny Cash brings to Orange County, her new tour of the critically acclaimed album of the same name, She Remembers Everything.

Grammy nominee Mark Hummel returns, kicking off the new year with the latest iteration of his all-star blues revue, the 2019 Southern Blues Harp Blowout. As always, his guests are stellar: Grammy Award-winner Bobby Rush is a ten-time Blues Music Award winner, B.B. King Entertainer of the Year, and Rolling Stone "King of the Chitlin' Circuit" winner. Alabama harpman James Harman- one of the great performers, writers and unique characters in the blues today - has employed some of the all-time great blues musicians in his bands. Kenny Neal is a second-generation southern Louisiana bluesman, 2017 Grammy nominee and winner of two Blues Music Awards for his Bloodline recording. And Jumpin' Johnny Sansone studied harmonica with Junior Wells and James Cotton; his former band Jumpin Johnny's Blues Party was the foundation of the New Orleans-based The Iguanas. Rounding out the good times is blues supergroup Golden State/Lone Star Blues Revue.

The Blind Boys of Alabama have the rare distinction of being recognized around the world as both living legends and modern-day innovators. They are not just gospel singers borrowing from old traditions; the group helped to define those traditions in 20th century and almost single-handedly created a new gospel sound for the 21st. The group will be at the Marcus Center's Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall on Saturday, January 26 at 7:30 pm. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, November 15 at 12:00 pm. With their 13th album ANCIENT LAND out now, multi-platinum international music sensation CELTIC WOMAN will wrap up 2018 with a PBS special and their annual holiday tour in support of the new release. They'll continue into the new year with a full North American tour set for 2019 (dates below). ANCIENT LAND entered the Billboard World Albums Chart at #6, making CELTIC WOMAN the only European act in the Top Ten of this chart (eight are from Asia, with the remaining group from Australia).

Today, Margo Price released a video for her Amazon Original single 'Leftovers.' The psychedelia-infused clip was shot in her hometown of Nashville, TN, in a retro mirrored studio specially constructed by the video's director, Casey Pierce. The New School Announces Special GRAMMY-Week Event

Four generations of musicians will come together for a one night only, special event during GRAMMY Week 2018. On Tuesday, January 23, at The New School's John L. Tishman Auditorium, students and faculty from The New School's College of Performing Arts with Renaissance Youth Center's Music with a Message Band, will perform with legendary artists and GRAMMY Award Winners William Bell and Bobby Rush. The event is made possible through a special collaboration between four partners - Take Me To The River, The GRAMMY Museum, The Renaissance Youth Center and The New School's College of Performing Arts - and shows how cross-cultural and intergenerational collaborations in music positively impact our community.
